Open Gear Grease 2.5 – imported by Damodor from Exol, England – is an advanced synthetic-specialty lubricant designed for Bangladesh’s most demanding heavy-industrial and transport applications. With an ultra-adhesive NLGI 2.5 consistency, this grease excels in protecting open gears, slewing rings, rail equipment, crushers, conveyors, and heavy machinery across Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna, and throughout Bangladesh. It performs reliably in extreme temperatures from –30 °C to +150 °C and features a high dropping point above 260 °C. Formulated with a synthetic PAO base (\~220 cSt @ 40 °C) and fortified with robust EP and anti-wear additives (Four Ball Weld Load ≥ 480 kgf), it offers outstanding load-carrying capacity, superior mechanical stability, excellent water washout resistance, low oil separation (<1 % @ 42 h/40 °C), and exceptional corrosion and rust protection.
